Steph completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy degree at the University of Toronto and her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology with Honours from McMaster University. Her post-graduate education includes completion of the McMaster Contemporary Acupuncture Program, certification in Soft Tissue Release and K-Taping, and Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Therapy Level One. She spent five years as a clinical instructor at U of T, before moving home to Guelph and starting her family. She believes in life-long learning and is always updating her skill set.
As a former competitive dancer and mom of two young boys, Steph understands the frustration of pain and limited function. She is passionate about helping her clients return to whatever they love to do, as soon as possible. Steph loves using hands-on therapeutic techniques and acupuncture to help her clients relax and accelerate healing. Her treatments also involve movement programs, simple lifestyle changes, and education to continue recovery at home.

Dr. Ben is a former hockey player with the OHL’s Plymouth Whalers and University of Guelph’s varisity team. After multiple surgeries on his hip and knee, he focused on his studies at UoG completing his undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics with Honours with a minor in Nutrition.
Continuing to rehab from his surgeries, Dr. Ben attended New York Chiropractic College for his Doctor of Chiropractic with additional certifications in Sport Science and Human Performance.
He then completed his clinical rotation in Buffalo where he served as senior clerk and developed/taught classes in modern methodolgies in exercise rehabilitation for students and staff. During this time, he travelled to McMaster University on weekends to complete his Contemporary Medical Acupuncture certification.
Since then, Dr. Ben has completed additional certicications to become a Neurofunctional Sports Performance Practitioner (advanced acupuncture program) and Functional Sports Medicine provider (nutrition and lab assessment).
After seeing multiple practitioners across different disciplines to help him return to competitive sport, Dr. Ben was left frustrated with the traditional approach to care. 12 years following his first surgery, he is now training for his first half-marathon after being told he would never be able to run again.
Dr. Ben created iON to provide complete solutions to help his clients reach their health + performance goals. He believes it is the repsonsibility of practitioners to find the best possible treatment approach by utilizing modern techniques and integrated care plans that are optimized to work towards the same goal.

Dr. Cole Pollard is a chiropractor (human and animal) and acupuncture provider (human). He has always had a passion for health and wellness. A career in chiropractic allows him to share that passion with others. He finds the intricacies and complexities of the human body to be quite fascinating, which lead him to utilize a more holistic approach when it comes to patient care. Dr. Cole assesses not only the area of concern but also the root cause of the complaint, which can be beneficial for both short-term and long-term recovery. He combines the use of neurofunctional assessment procedures with traditional orthopedic testing to diagnose and treat a wide variety of conditions from head-to-toe. Matthias obtained his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto after completing his Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph.
Matthias was first interested in pursuing a career in physiotherapy in high school after badly spraining his ankle in a skateboarding accident when a physiotherapist helped him rehab his ankle in time for wrestling season. He saw how physiotherapists can have a positive impact on people?s lives and help them get back to doing what they love.
Before his Masters, Matthias was a personal trainer and uses individualized exercise prescription in combination with hands-on techniques and education when treating his patients. He believes patients should have an active role in their care and tailors his treatment to help them meet their goals. He is planning on furthering his education in manual therapy, medical acupuncture, and strength and conditioning.

Dane is a Certified Personal Trainer and current Athletic Therapy student at Sheridan College, working toward his Honours Bachelor of Applied Health Sciences – Athletic Therapy degree. He began his career after completing a diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion, where he worked with a family health team at a not-for-profit gym.
